Open Shop Night Are you contemplating bike commuting but don't know where to start? Do you want to learn some road side maintenance skills? Good Karma Bikes is excited to add a new program to our mix of community outreach! Our goals for this program will emphasize inclusion, access, education and community. Hosted By Women, For Women, we will emphasize basic skill development in roadside maintenance and cycling safety for commuters, road cyclists, casual weekend riders, etc. There is no cost to attend. We just ask that you pay it forward at some point - share a skill or act of goodwill! Of course, we would never turn down a donation offer! Women's Skills and Open Shop Night will be hosted every other Tuesday evening, 6:30-8:30pm. The evening will be very casual; no need to rsvp, but we do ask that you strive to attend the skills workshop. This is an opportunity for novice and experienced cycling folks to come together and share knowledge. Following the workshop, you will have access to work stations and tools until 8:30. 2019 Schedule: 2/12 2/26 3/12 3/26 4/16 4/30 5/14 5/28 6/11 6/25 7/16 7/30 8/13 8/27 Please feel free to bring your own bike or practice skills on one of ours.
